High Impact Teen Ministry

In 1987, God spoke the words, “My people are living beneath their privileges” to the heart of Pastor Ray Barnard and commissioned Pastor Barnard to share the good news of the gospel by following these simple instructions. “Minister to the children and youth and the parents will come!”

It is the objective of High Impact, under the direction of Kareem Rogers, to impact today’s youth with vision for the future.

High Impact

High Impact is a cutting edge youth ministry serving as a channel by which Jesus Christ is boldly and creatively introduced to the youth of today. We will minister to a diverse group of teenagers from all races and backgrounds to meet their spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and educational needs. As we partner with parents to impact the lives of youth in this generation with the Word of God, we will change our present environment by creating teenagers who cannot be destroyed.

High Impact Mission

High Impact is a cutting edge youth ministry serving as a channel by which Jesus Christ is boldly and creatively introduced to the youth of today.

High Impact is designed to minister to the youth of Philadelphia and the surrounding region by equipping them to go beyond the limitations that the world has placed upon them. We are committed to establishing meaningful relationships and providing relevant events with the ultimate intent to win lost youth to Christ. As we effectively minister to the needs of the teens, we believe that the parents and extended family will follow and the youth culture of this region will be impacted to the point of change.

High Impact is composed of many areas that are available to minister to today’s youth ages 13 - 18.

High Impact meets two nights every week.

Wednesday Nights -7:30pm
Wednesday Nights is an in-depth study of the Bible as we dig into tough teenage issues and answer difficult questions of the day with wisdom from the Word. “Mix and mingle time” is provided before and after every session.

Friday Nights - 7:00pm
Friday night provides an opportunity for young people to worship and experience God in a powerful and creative fashion. This isn’t church as usual. Ministry that occurs is relevant, exciting and well-presented. Activities include: Ice-breakers, mix and mingle time, play station and x-box video games, music, open mic, refreshments, and much more!
