Benevolence Ministry

Assists tithing members of IYWCC in need of shelter, food, clothing and other needs.
Bookstore Ministry (Believer’s Resource Center)
This ministry provides a place to purchase Christian literature, books, Bibles, audiotapes, and videotapes of messages taught by Pastor Ray Barnard and other Ministers. The Believers Resource Center opens 30 minutes after services on Wednesdays, Sundays and other special services events.
IGNITE Cell Ministry

Ignite Cell Ministry is a collective entity of groups here at Impacting Your World Christian Center. These small, intimate groups create opportunities for members to meet, study the Word and build relationships. The cell groups present a venue for nurturing and spiritual growth. Ignite Cell Ministry is another vehicle being used to support our Pastors’ vision to impact the lives of people, with the Word of God, thus creating a people who can not be destroyed.
 Children’s Ministry (SuperKidz)

Teachers with a heart for children are used to produce an atmosphere to touch the lives of young people, age 12 and under with biblical principles for everyday life. SuperKidz teaches the Word of God on a level that children can understand, using object lessons, puppetry, drama, transparencies and Bible stories. This helps to reinforce the preaching of the Word of God. Vacation Bible School and year-round Children’s choir allows our children to develop a strong walk in Christ.
Education Ministry
Provides courses and activities that promote spiritual growth, as well as increase your foundational knowledge in the Word of God.
Gate Keepers Ministry
The main function is to safeguard the safety of our members, visitors, their cars and personal property as well as the church facilities. Gate keepers open car doors, aid the ambulatory and provide assistance with packages.
Hospitality Ministry
Ensures the comfort of the Senior Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and all visiting Pastors. Duties include serving beverages when necessary, and catering dinners, receptions and banquets at Impacting Your World Christian Center.
 In-Touch Ministry
Maintains contact with new and existing members of Impacting Your World Christian Center on a regular basis. The In-Touch Ministry makes personal telephone calls to inquire about a member’s need for prayer, and to encourage them in their walk with God. This communication allows the church to determine if a member or their immediate family has specific needs that must be met.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
An Assembly of dedicated prayer intercessors set aside for praying and interceding on the behalf of the Pastors, Ministry and the Community.
Marriage Ministry (Love Alive)
One important goal of IYWCC is to keep families together. Marriage ministry provides teaching of the Word of God via meetings, seminars and retreats. This ministry also aids in prayer and counseling.
Men’s Fellowship Ministry (Men of Destiny)
This ministry is purposed to coordinate discipleship programs to include men’s Bible Study Groups, prayer groups and various other spiritual growth initiatives. Our goal is to develop and implement workshops to assist our men of God in becoming spiritually, economically and financially empowered.
Neighborhood Outreach Ministry
Reaching the hearts of people in our community is the purpose of this ministry. Members of this ministry are trained through the Word of God to become “fishers of men.” The activities of this group include traveling door-to-door, visiting area substance recovery homes, handing out tracts on busy streets, hosting special seminars and neighborhood events.
New Members Ministry
This ministry is designed to support, embrace and welcome new members; providing them with effective, professional, quality information and resources regarding their newly embraced ministry. Organizes new members’ classes and conducts a reception prior to the graduation ceremony. This is done to provide information to new members about the various ministries in which they can become spiritually employed.

Shares the Word of God within local area nursing homes and provides special activities for elderly patients.
Pastoral Care

Provides support to the Pastor by visiting the sick and shut-in, as well as praying with individuals in need of special prayer.
Pastor’s Personal Aides
Men and Women anointed and appointed by God to personally assist Pastors Ray and Tracey Barnard in fulfilling the vision God has given them. These men and women also assist special guests at Impacting Your World Christian Center and operate fully in the Ministry of Helps.
Performing Arts Ministry (Dramatic Impact& Point of Impact)
Demonstrates the word of God through dance, drama, and other fine arts. Gives special performances during holiday and other celebrations.
Phone Counselor Ministry (RBM)
Phone counselors are Spirit-filled telephone ambassadors for IYWCC. The purpose of phone counselors is to pray for callers who may have been watching television broadcast or listening to the radio program. They also provide information about church services and events at IYWCC.
Prison Ministry
This ministry extends a message of hope and reconciliation to those who have been incarcerated. This ministry involves jail and prison visits, prayer for their families, and teaching the word of faith.
Singles Ministry (Club Anointing)
Provides a monthly social for Adults aged 18 and over, as well as periodic educational courses directed to singles. Through bible studies and fellowships, Club Anointing teaches singles how to live a victorious and fulfilling life through Jesus Christ.
P.O.W.E.R. (Recovery& Restoration)
Provides group sessions to substance abusers and their families, to educate, minister, fellowship, and support those who desire to be free of the bondage of addiction.
Media Ministry
The Media Ministry was designed to spread the gospel via technology support systems, through the aide of distributing audio/video products to Bookstores and Conferences. Media ministry provides a valuable service to individuals who were unable to attend the service or individuals who appreciate the value of hearing the Gospel a second time in the privacy of their home or car.
Usher and Greeters
The purpose and function of usher’s is to show the excellence of God’s love and joy by giving a friendly smile, a gentle hug, and a warm hello to each person who enters the building. The purpose and function of greeter’s is to direct foot traffic, and seat the parishioners as they enter the sanctuary. This ministry is also responsible for directing the collection of tithes and offerings during services and handling the serving of communion, and be available to assist in outreach functions and events.
Sisters Impacting Sisters (S.I.S.)
The women at Impacting Your World Christian Center are Sister Impacting Sisters. Driven with purpose to be women of excellence in their own personal lives, their marriages, their families, their careers and their churches, they seek to impact all women with the Word of God. They aspire to a spirit of excellence, to be women who cannot be destroyed.
Worship and Fine Arts
This all-encompassing ministry includes the Praise & Worship Ministry, the Voices of Impact Choir, the Youth Ministry Choir, instrumentalists and Special Music Groups. The Music Ministry is responsible for providing all musical selections. Its purpose is to prepare the atmosphere for the teaching the Word of God during regular services, special events, and is available for outside venues.

High Impact Teens (H.I.T.) is designed to attract youth between the ages of 13 to 23. H.I.T. provides bible studies on Wednesday evenings, weekly services on Friday evenings, and special seminars, discussions, and retreats for the youth. |
